Vendict Recognized in the 2026 Gartner® Coolest Vendor Innovations for Assurance: GRC and TPRM

A company recognition, and a closer look at how we believe we’re changing the economics of TPRM.
Vendict was recognized in the 2026 Gartner® Coolest Vendor Innovations for Assurance: GRC and TPRM report.
Being included in this Gartner research means a lot to our team. We’d like to use the moment to share how we think about TPRM, and why we built Vendict the way we did.
The TPRM pain we see
Most TPRM programs are sized by headcount, while vendor risk keeps growing on its own schedule. Teams review the 5 to 10% of vendors marked critical. The rest go unseen until risk shows up as a surprise, and 48% of breaches now involve a third party, according to Verizon’s 2026 Data Breach Investigations Report.
The teams doing this work are stretched thin. They spend their week chasing vendors for documents, reading evidence and sorting through alerts, and much of what they sort through doesn’t even apply to their business. Meanwhile, new vendors wait in the queue and the business starts to see risk as the team that slows things down.
Seeing risk across every vendor
In the AI era, leaving most vendors unmonitored is a choice organizations no longer have to make. With Vendict, teams know where they stand on every vendor, including the long tail they never had time for, so problems surface early.
We monitor 100% of a customer’s vendors for security, privacy, compliance, legal, financial and AI risk, and map their fourth parties and subprocessors. None of it depends on the vendor responding.
When a vendor needs a closer look, the answers usually come from evidence the vendor already has. Vendict’s AI reads more than 650 document types and evaluates them against more than 40 frameworks. In a data processing agreement, for example, it shows whether there’s a breach notification window, with the clause and its source, so the reviewer can assess it in minutes.
When gaps remain, vendors get a short questionnaire covering only those gaps. They answer faster, so assessments close sooner. Teams whose policy is to send a full questionnaire up front can still do that, and Vendict prefills it from the evidence.
Taking the operational work off the team
No one likes chasing vendors. At Vendict, our AI and TPRM experts handle vendor outreach, document collection, follow-ups and remediation tracking. Reviews keep pace as the vendor list grows, and the team’s workload stays flat.
That gives the team its time back for the work that needs their judgment: understanding exposure in the context of the business and deciding what to do. They see every step in the platform, and every risk decision stays with them.
Acting on the risks that matter
Much of what TPRM tools surface is noise for a given business. Vendict screens out what doesn’t apply and learns from every decision the team makes, so there’s less to sort through over time.
What reaches the team is a risk they can act on, with the evidence behind it, a proposed fix, an owner and a due date. Decisions come faster and are easier to defend to auditors and the board.
The Benefits of a TPRM Service. The Cost of Software.
Together, this changes what a TPRM program can cover. Because AI does much of the work, Vendict delivers the work of a TPRM team at the cost of software, without added headcount or consultant rates.
We want the scope of a TPRM program to be driven by the organization’s vendor risk, rather than by the number of assessments a small team can complete by hand. We see this recognition as a recognition on that path, and we’ll keep taking more of the operational work off TPRM teams.
